It was a great parade! 🇺🇸I loved that the Boy Scouts came by at the end to help clean up trash. Thanks to everyone who participated especially those who gave out freezer pops! 🥳

90 minute parade was great..........a lot of cold popsicle handouts to keep us hydrated...along with water.............and the traditional candy, beads.....and yes, we had to be patient getting out of the Lake Houston Parkway .........worth it. But, yes, even sitting in the shade....still ...sweaty.....LOL

#msg5959003Annie : Lots of pop-up tents and chairs when I ran past at 8:00.

buffaloglenn : I made a HEB run around 8am to pick up a few things I forgot on Friday. Those parade watchers must have got there early, because their viewing places were all set up.

Did anyone else notice the HEB trailer over in the old closed off HEB lot in front of Sprouts? That was a very "IN YOUR FACE' move by HEB. I'm sure the Sprouts folks were thrilled that the HEB trailer blocked the sightlines to their store from WLHP.
