Porter SnoBall had a break in and someone stole their original s

Sad when people are such...Jerks ( so I don't get grey boxed, for using the word I Want to!). We love going there, super nice people, too. I hope they find the thieves!

goldie :
I'm sorry to hear about this, we love their snow cones. I hope they catch the thieves and they get their machine back.

Very sad for sure. Probably scrapped that beautiful machine for spare change 😪

The kids and I stopped yesterday to get snocones. We spoke briefly about the loss but their team was all smiles, jokes and fun and we're in good spirits. The loss is obviously a financial burden but mostly sentimental. Their spare newer machine works better and the ice is sooooo soft, according to the owner. I got cream soda, DD got bubble gum with fairy dust and my son got his regular blue raspberry. This place never disappoints. It reminds me of "back in my day" when I was 15 working at Jitters Coffee and snocones on Northpark. Who remembers that little shack???

zuesamy :
I remember the Jitters on NP - on the north side of the road around Russell Palmer? There was an outgoing blonde headed man who I believed owned it. How many years ago was that? It seems like it was a long time ago.

zuesamy :
I do!! They are still on yelp lol

Dan88 : Great minds think alike.

zuesamy :
I do. A friend of mine, who has since passed, loved to go there. She would collect the stickers from the cups. A fond memory.

goldie :
My wife used to work there as a kid lol

goldie :
Sad. Hopefully they get the original machine back.

So low to steal their machine. Hopefully they get the machine back and they catch those are responsible.
