golfshot : Oh wow! Glad you're feeling better. I keep putting off getting the shot but really do not want shingles. I guess I need to get that done as soon as possible.

Shingles, No Fun! I kept putting it off getting the vaccine. Well, such is life about 3 weeks ago my back started itching. So murry said looks like Shingles to me. So off I went to MH Emergency by HEB and the Dr.did confirm. I was on anti-virals and murry applied good Ole Calimine lotion. It was a real challenge sleeping. I am almost all better then, my wisdom tooth cracked and had to go get that pulled. That was last week and so far healing nicely. By God's amazing grace I was able to make it through and ready to enjoy the beautiful mornings sipping coffee and enjoying all the birds singing their beautiful songs again!
golfshot : I am a "shingles survivor". I understand and remember the pain of it all (12 years ago) vividly. I was told that if it does come back, it will more than likely be in the same exact spot. Glad that you are better.

golfshot : We are doing well thanks. Kitty had a bad reaction to a v shot at the vet, but has recovered now. And hubby needs his 2nd v shot for Shingles and swears he will get it next week. We are at 4+ months right now but he has up to 6. He still suffers from after-effects of Shingles of the head and eye. I am all for the Shingles shot.
