Perhaps a conversation class at someplace like LoneStar College.

How do you want to learn? Online is the easiest way, many companies have online tutors you pay by the hour or take a class. Good luck

Learned at the Alliance Française de Houston before we moved there years ago as an expat. It's a drive, but you'll learn for sure.

I started learning Portuguese through Lingo Legend- I like it better than Duo Lingo. I learned German through Duo Lingo.

Also look into AI language learning

I suggest the Babbel app, or Rosetta Stone; you can use the app to study when exercising, in your car, etc. There are also some meet up groups in Houston, where you could go and practice your French.
