I want to give a big "shout out" to the Hermann Memorial Emergen
I want to give a big "shout out" to the Hermann Memorial Emergency Hospital located near HEB in Kingwood. They recently treated my DH for heart irregularity issues, stabilized him and transferred him to Hermann Memorial Hospital North East. Blood clots were discovered in his heart and treatment is ongoing and hopeful. Dr. Andrew Kim, MD, Cardiologist, is fantastic, as well as the whole Cardiology staff at Hermann Memorial.

Texasdaughter : I am really happy they were able to get your husband stabilized. Prayers for his complete recovery. My DH had two pulmonary embolisms and is on blood thinners, so I know how scary these things are. I worked at Memorial Hermann Northeast on the business side for eight years. It has become a very good hospital. It was not before the Memorial Hermann Hospital system took over many years ago.

Texasdaughter : I have to say I was so very happy with the care I received there. I had to transfer to the bigger facility, but they arranged everything so it was seamless.

Texasdaughter : I agree! I went there 2 years ago thinking I had an upper respiratory infection and it turned out I was in the beginning stages of a heart attack! They put me on blood thinners and took me to Humble. I had 2 stents put in and had my checkup last week. All is good.

Texasdaughter : I'm glad they were able to help your DH so quickly, and the treatment is going well. Our family also recently visited this emergency center for our DS, and they were very quick and helpful in their assessment and treatment. It's so great that we have these places so close to home, and to know that they are helping so many people in our community.
