Graduation 2026- feeling irritated that NRG is not available, I

Our graduation was on the floor of a rodeo arena so it could be worse.Nephew graduated K Park last year and we had to make the trek all the way down to NRG for it. I couldn't understand why Kingwood kids have to go all the way down there but maybe I'm missing something.

I had one child graduate at NRG and the other at Turner and I would choose Turner hands down over NRG. The logistics of parking, entering and exiting the stadium, and the seating what a mess. Turner was easy to navigate and it did not take all night. The only drawback I could see was the limited tickets. I donated y extra tickets to someone for their family.

Seriously? Surly they could accommodate graduates on their special day. Next year, for the World Cup is-next year!

I think the massive amount of security that needs to be in place is overwhelming. Also I think the teams will be using the stadium for practices and exhibition games as well as several concerts in and around NRG starting in mid to late May. Millions and Millions of dollars into the Houston economy.

Okay so for those who have had a senior graduate from NRG in the past few years, how long did the ceremony take? I've got one graduating today. I graduated at NRG in the early 2000's and my class size was 1500. I remember our ceremony taking roughly 4 hours to get through. Hoping they've fine tuned things since then. 😅
