Babieborris: happens often, especially in Kwood. No common courtesy or watching out for other cars.

Similar, last week. Riding down the feeder, North, by Kroger at NP and 59. I was going 40, speed limit 45, but always trafficky, so I slow down. I SAW a young lady in a van, on her cell, talking away. She Literally looked Right at me, waited the count of 5, and Then pulled out right in front of me, with no mph/speed at All. I had quickly looked left, and was lucky the lane was clear enough, so I turned on my signal, and was ready. Had I Not switched lanes, I would have gone Right through the side of her small SUV. I did honk as I passed her, and got a dirty look, but she was Still looking at her phone, As she drove! These days, you just have to Assume that they are 'looking/not seeing" and Not paying attention! Glad you avoided a collision!!

It will be a racetrack! I do my best to Not have to go across lanes, to get to my destination. I will make a right hand turn, then u turn, and wait through a light, to be able to go straight across, with a traffic light monitoring the flow. This opposed to trying to Get across a few lanes, when people are so distracted. Worth the extra 3 minutes of my time, these days

Yesterday afternoon when I was driving north on WLH there was a woman in a red sedan driving the wrong way, south, in the northbound lanes! OMG. Horns were blaring! She managed to make a U-turn behind me. How did she not see the traffic coming before she turned the wrong way?

That area is always crazy traffic. Yesterday a large truck almost hit us on the southbound service road. The driver was looking at his phone and swerved into our lane. Fortunately DH avoided a crash - the driver looked up then right back to his phone and continued weaving between lanes.

Getting out of any parking lot is a pain. When my kids started driving, I taught them when pulling out of any parking lot go to a light if they have one. It might take a bit longer but they will be protected by the light. I do it still especially when there is traffic.
