Working in the O&G field we had to go to safety meetings every month. It is amazing how many people do not realize how using gasoline with fire can end up in a serious explosion. That is why lighter fluid is sold.
My heart is just hurting that these things still happen in todays world.

So sad to see this; I did see that does have nerve function in his feet, which bodes well for his being able to walk, when he heals. Houston has the Best care for burn victims, and I am hoping he heals well and quickly!!! Prayers for them all!

Prayers for this young man. He has one of the kindest families. His grandfather used to come over and cut my stepfather's hair when he was home bound with cancer years ago.

Sad to hear. He has a long road ahead.
My son's friend wanted to make smores with her kids. Told them to stay on the porch while she started a campfire. She too used gasoline. With the blowback into her face, chest, arms. She was wearing a shirt that just melted to her skin. That was scaped off before they could treat her burns. I believe she burnt 60% of her body. It took a long time for her to leave the hospital.
I have *****ed at people for that very thing. Nope, I'm outta here.
Btw, I stuff dryer lint and paper into toilet paper tubes, make a kindling tent over it and the fire lights fine. No need for anything more. Blessings to him and his family.
