Driver Apprehended on Felony Evading Charge Following Motorcycle Pursuit

On January 10, 2024, at approximately 2:07pm, a Deputy from Constable Kenneth “Rowdy” Hayden’s Office initiated a traffic stop on a black Harley Davidson motorcycle due to multiple observed traffic violations on Hwy 59 near Northpark Dr. The motorcyclist chose to accelerate rather than comply, triggering a high-speed pursuit.

Additional Pct. 4 Deputies promptly joined to provide assistance. The motorcycle raced through the area spanning Northpark Drive in Kingwood to Porter, TX, traversing Highway 59, Loop 494, Ford Rd., and even the parking lots of Porter Walmart and Home Depot. Unfortunately, Deputies eventually lost sight of the fleeing motorcycle.

Through the Deputy's investigative work including onboard license plate reading systems, drone support and investigative interviews, they were able to identify the driver and locate his address.

Through a comprehensive investigative effort, which included utilizing onboard license plate reading systems, drone support, and conducting investigative interviews, Deputies successfully identified the driver and located his residence.

Shortly thereafter, the driver, identified as 23-year-old Oscar Anaya Jr. from Porter, TX, exited the house with his hands raised. Anaya was apprehended, charged with felony evading arrest in a motor vehicle, and has since been booked into Montgomery County Jail.
