KanKan : I had to run out yesterday afternoon and it was 115 in my car. But my car is dark and was parked in direct sunlight. I try to get all of my running around done early these days. IT is just too darn hot and I think the heat is making people more aggressive and quick tempered.

KanKan : It's definitely another hot one out there. I got the yard done this morning, and after that and treating some ant mounds (they love this heat) and pool work I hopped in the pool for a quick clean-up, no soap required.

For sure the lighter the color of cars, the cooler they are - I read where a researcher did a survey/test and results showed 9 degrees cooler if care is white (especially white).

My wife's car is white with a light tan interior. It still gets like an oven in there when parked in the sun.

It's so hot the pool water feels cool, but I know it isn't.
