We've been here 26yrs. our selves and have seen an increase in crime in our area as well. As I stated a while back. My truck got stolen right out of my drive way. We've had neighbors tell us that they have had people looking into their windows at night. We noticed some of it increased after Katrina and we had a sudden influx of people. Some good, some bad.
