Vultures along the ditch between Trailwood Village and Forest Co

Donnawisdom : Agreed. Scavengers definitely have their place in life. I don't want their place to be this close to my place! Lol

Txbutterfly : Considering their diet and their size, I really don't want them to take up residence in my back yard. It could present problems I don't care to deal with.

Theoldman : Yes they are. They need to do their job and move on to the next job further away. Lol. I do appreciate their work but I am not extending an invitation to extend their visit.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : The saddest part is the deer. They are so majestic. I wonder what happened. It is partially in the water at the bottom of the ditch.

Quixote : Thanks for the interesting story and information. I did not know they were protected however I wouldn't harm them. They have a job to do and hopefully they will do it quickly. I still prefer they move on.

Kittle : And those birds are nervy! You can drive right up to them and they don't move til the last possible second lol

MissAmericanPie : So true about that! I've actually been nervous I was going to hit one or two before when they've been in the middle of the road.

Weathergirl5 : Heat is definitely a concern. There are sooooo many vultures the food supply should quickly be consumed. Some vultures were in one of our trees mid to late morning. They are so high they can't be reached with the water hose. We pounded on the tree trunk and they left.

Kittle : That is crazy there are that many! The bright side is they should have the food source gone in no time. Still I would not want them hanging around my house either so I don't blame you.
