TownHubAdmin : HOORAY!!!! Since L&H closed (turned into a food truck somewhere across town) I've been missing nearby gyros (Taste of Greek isn't in a good location for me). I'll be stopping by very soon!

cbear : There is also a Greek restaurant by the Ace Hardware store on Kingwood Drive and West Lake Houston Parkway. It is mostly for take-out, but it too is very good. I believe it is called Taste of Greek.

wmubronco : That's the one I was referencing. There is DiMassi's in Humble and Sava in Atascocita.

I decided to treat myself and went to give The Gyro Guys a try. Wow! That was the best gyro I've had in *years*. The lamb was lightly crisped on the outside and tender and tasty in the middle, with a fantastic pita and the perfect balance of fresh contents. Plus, the staff are all friendly eager to please.

Happiness is a really, really good gyro.
