sweetie : It's the one on KWD next to Chelsea's, Red Curry. May as well consider it a new place as complete change.
sweetie : Never went to the old place so can't compare. But the new owners have a place in the heights which seems to be one of the better ones in Houston. We thought it was quite good last night.
I'm kind of glad they are just focusing on Thai food. I get tired of places that mix every kind of Asian food into one menu. They really are very different and while some places do a decent job of serving multi cultural dishes others do not. It would be like going to an Italian restaurant that also serves German food or French food.
Oh, He11, no. That was my favorite place to go in KW for lunch. Now, I need to find a new place

@FoxMuldr : The sushi buffet made the lunch nice didn't it? Maybe they will carry over that theme with the new owner. 4951

Went last night and the food was really good. No more sushi bar they said but I don't think you'll miss it if you're going for Thai food. Can't even tell you the names of the dishes we had but one was wide noodles w pork and other rice with ckn and basil and veggies- both were outstanding. The sign says Thai Lao restaurant and bar but No liquor license yet but able to serve wine and Beer. We will definitely be back if the service and food continues to be just as good. 4951
