AGREED! Couldn't have said better my self. Not to mention having to run the water and watch it go down the drain until it runs clear everytime. Can't wait to get the water bill for this month.

@bratWhy does expecting a reimbursement tick you off. If you ordered a drink at the bar and it didn't taste right you would expect another or your money back. You wouldn't pay for another to see if they could get that one right.Just because it's a city service and "**** happens" doesn't mean it acceptable. Our tax dollars pay for the infrastructure and then we pay for the water too. Toxic chemicals etc get into the water systems across the country too...should we just sit back and take it, because as you say "**** Happens"?

This happens occasionally here. The water Dept (Severn Trent) claims it is OK to drink. I know they have been working on the Water Plant by The Police Station and my bet is that it is related to that work.It is sediment. Can you imagine what it is doing to your faucet valves and hot water heater? They are being damaged by it. The damage will present itself somewhere in the future. 4951
I live in Copperfield south of Kingwood and my water smells  horrible and is also brownish... 4951
That's correct. A hydrant flush might make your water discolored for a short period of time (as in may 15 minutes), but it should not be an ongoing issue that lasts days let alone weeks. 4951

Hi All, My first post here. I'm in the Elm Grove subdivision. Tonight, all of our water is coming out brown and gross all of a sudden. Pic Attached. Anyone else having the same problem?
