Hin's needs business!

Ronstang : Quite a while ago - it was after other family members took over when Cindy and Horace retired.
I loved their dumplings, cashew chicken and shrimp, pepper steak, shrimp fried rice, orange beef, etc...

Man, all pale in comparison to when Horace and Cindy were at the helm. Their steamed pork dumplings, hot chili sauce, wonton soup, salt and pepper shrimp, triple delight, and sautéed green beans have yet to even be remotely comparable to anything else I've tried.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : They did. For years. And the place stayed empty most of the time. They hire a lot of local kids but they want ridiculous hourly wages. They train people and they quit 2 months later without notice. At least with pickup/delivery, they pay their drivers and their cooks and cut out the middle people. Most of their employees now are the owners and their kids/grandkids ect.

Ronstang : We picked up food last night & it was no different than had we eaten there. None. I wouldn't order it if it was.

Thanks for the ones who had positive things to say. To the ones who don't - don't complain when every long time Kingwood businesses is gone. Elite Treats is now gone. What's next? I hope it's not Hin's.

Hin's is our go-to place for Chinese food. Remember when Chinese food was inexpensive? Not anymore, just like everything else. We'll order from there for the weekend, so we'll have leftovers for Sunday.

Oh no! It's been my favorite for years. I've noticed when I go to pick up my order on weekends it looks empty.

Dine in, hard to believe they can't find any help. They were our "go to" for many years pre COVID.

Ronstang : I order take-out from Hin's fairly often. It's always excellent and still hot when I get home 2 miles away, unless I'm late picking it up (microwave low power).

StormChaser : Why do they not do dine in? Isn't that kinda shooting themselves in the foot? Their food is the best!
