Hin's needs business! I know most everyone here loves Hin's Garden. It's our absolute favorite Chinese restaurant and we've known the owners for over 25 years. 🚨 But Hin's Garden needs BUSINESS! 🚨 We ordered food tonight and the owners are afraid they're going to go out of business in the next year if things don't pick up. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ 🚨 Unfortunately, they no longer do dine in business; it's to go only order only. They can't keep decent staff on the payroll and haven't been able to since covid. They've been in business here in Kingwood for 30+ years. 💚 So many locally owned Kingwood businesses are closing 😰 so if you plan on ordering in food any time soon, think about supporting them because they desperately need it. I am so sad to hear this; Hin's has always been our favorite in the area. Thanks for posting this, to help them!

Can't help you as I've been going to Oriental Gardens for 40 years and I am not going to switch now as I find most Chinese restaurants don't compare. This is the first time I have ever heard of Hin's Garden.

We ordered a big order Saturday evening. We are doing our part.
I'm not a restaurateur - but I've eaten at a bunch of 'em. I think the take-out-only (and being closed on Tuesdays) is hurting them. Twice, I've pulled up planning to eat and then remembered - ah, we can't eat there. Best of luck to them. They do have good food.

Oh no. Thank you for this post. It's the only Chinese restaurant that serves shrimp toast. I prefer Hunan Garden and I'm the stubborn one that doesn't like change. When I tell my husband he's going to want to start ordering from them every time. But maybe we'll do both. We'll order mine from Hunan Garden, he'll order his from Hin's. We never dine in for Chinese food anyway so this works for us.
StormChaser, Donnawisdom and LittleTexas reacted I don't usually eat out, but I've got an occasion coming up Thursday that warrants it so I think maybe I'll stop by there.
This is true; with Uber Eats, Door Dash, etc, if people want to eat at home, they can choose anywhere to dine. But, f you limit your customers this way, it changes when/how people choose your business. With the rent, electricity, employee costs, it might be a better idea to open a food truck. Could choose to open only on weekend, limited staff needed, and lower costs and insurance, in general. They might have to trim their menu, but that will save them money, too. Maybe less profit, but less expenses, and it might even out better, for them? In any case, I hope they don't disappear.

Thank you for letting everyone know, I would hate for us to lose another local business. I haven't had any good Chinese food in a while, I'll have to order from them soon.
