In His Kind of Woman, Vincent stared with Robert Mitchum and Jane Russell. He and Mitchum were great together. It's worth seeing!
Sophos3 reacted Yes, it's a little dark on the ending but it still amazing how much more creative our authors from the Victorian era were. Look at H.P. Lovecraft, love him too. I love Poe too.
#msg6043271I love Vincent Price. I've seen most everything he has done at least twice. And while I love his horror flicks, two of my favorites are not horror at all, they are more Film Noir, His Kind of Woman and Laura.
Both excellent movies. He was full of surprises. An excellent cook, art collector/creator, and philanthropist. Vincent left both a museum and art school which still runs today. There's a documentary about him coming on HBOMax soon that his daughter and others are in.

Amazing authors but also problematic people. Then again madness and genius often dance a fine line.
