Mambo Seafood in Humble!

LittleTexas : I noticed it the other day when I was driving to get bloodwork. Interesting menu.

Cbear: there are better places in that area to get seafood with a Latin flair . Patron Grill, across at Deerbrook Commons has a lot of good seafood dishes, with much better quality ingredients, and craft margaritas

LittleTexas : I've never been to Patron. Do you have a fave there?

I used to really like the rice at Mambo, which is rare for me. I haven't been there in probably 20 years though, since I moved offices. It used to be a regular lunch spot.

An Ostioneria Michoacan opened in Porter. The same type of food done well too,

Cbear: they have good plates with grilled meat and shrimp and I also love their ribeye nachos; half an order of these nachos is funny because they are so good and rich. They have homemade Tres leches and I love the strawberry one and amazing craft margaritas in so many different flavors and a great happy hour! Monday is steak night at Patron!

LittleTexas : Yes, I used to eat at the one on I45 when I worked off West Hardy Road. Love their food and rice. Yum!

Capybara : Did you eat at the one in I45 -Beltway 8 near Greenspoint by chance? Went there often when I worked out there.

There used to be a Mambo Seafood on the beltway between Wilson and Mesa, opposite from Fall Creek. I think it closed a few years ago, became something else, and that might be closed too

The closest to us is 45N by Aldine High's 9th grade campus.
