Looks like something you'd see in Dubai, Singapore, or China. Interesting! I wonder where the designers/architects are originally from.

Good question. But as a former high-rise mgr, don't get me started on architects that draw and sell bldgs that have features that are virtually impossible to build out, maintain or clean.
"Snake Building" is a big turn off. Surely they have anchor tenants lined up otherwise it will be a snake to the investors. Having worked in commercial real estate decades ago, anchors are essential.

Cool design. I just don't know if this is ever happening. The class A office space market is already super saturated. Downtown has a huge amount of empty office space. Galleria is no different!

Actually, the Galleria and downtown market saturation is pretty flat. Houston is not very good at repurposing bldgs for Destination which is why we're seeing demolition of old bldgs to make room for brand new Destination bldgs coming out of the ground.
Then why are they overhauling One Shell Plaza, and have they still not demolished the old Exxon building or the Days Inn? both are eyesores I can see from my office and have been crumbling for over a decade

I don't know. I'm retired and not so much in the know as I once was. If I find out anything, I'll let you know.
