cnmmom82 : what area? our cars were ransacked 20 years ago….. forgot to shut the garage door because I was going back out and did not. It was an 11 K haul …..cash two cell phones, expensive sunglasses, diamond ring that I had wore on easter and placed in my purse for safe keeping after church because it was loose and was a family heirloom, all CDs, none of it covered insurance. cash never is and we had not yet had the ring appraised ( an insurance requirement before can be insured) 🤬

I'm sorry this happened to you! I'm glad they didn't get anything but still a hassle for you.

Sadly, an unlocked car is an invitation to perpetrators. Glad they did not get anything at all, but they can often ruin a door or a window trying to get access so make sure that you never leave anything visible, even an empty bag. Always lock your doors to your car.
