Heater Clean and Check

With the frigid weather (lol) arriving, it reminded me it is time to do the heater clean and check.

Just got mine done with a good check-up report. I'd rather do this each year than be surprised by something. Definitely worth the peace of mind and not having to change the filters in the attic myself.

I have used Kingwood Air Solutions for more than 20 years and always feel that I am in great hands.

Annie : I saw them talking about that on the news today and I LOL'd. Then I thought, surely no one is going to run their heater this weekend. Our houses won't even have enough time to cool off before the AC comes back on Tuesday. Emoticon

Saying that, it's understandable to schedule a heater check now rather than when a true arctic blast is approaching in January.

I like to wear shorts year round at home so I will have my heater on sooner than others. I ran the heater for a while today (since I could keep doors opened) to ensure no funny smells. Nothing icky. I always hated the smell of my parents' home when the heater was first employed.

Yes, that is always a good idea; I'd rather have the heat out for a few days, than the A/C, but no heat can get uncomfortable, too!
