#msg6031513TEXASGIRLMAMMA : That's an absolutely sick position. Do you realize the other countries that do this are Iran and Afganistan? The US should be better than them. Only a tiny number of nations carry out executions in public. According to human rights groups like Amnesty International, countries such as Iran and Afghanistan have occasionally conducted public executions, while North Korea and Saudi Arabia have historically held public or semi-public executions. However, these are generally witnessed in person by local crowds rather than broadcasted live online by the governments.

#msg6031524Cbear : How does any of that change the fact that he in a wheelchair, and will be shot sitting down, unless they prop him up.

#msg6031520Cbear : If someone does not condemn a statement or action, then that person condones that statement or action.

When did having compassion means you have to kill someone, that is in a wheel chair committed to security institution without a
chance of ever harming another being.
Opposing a ghoulish execution is not meant to r eject compassion for those mrdered by Dr. Hassan.

#msg6031552Where is your compassion for the 13 people he shot and killed as well as injuring 30 others at Ft. Hood?
#msg6031603I feel so bad for their families and they, for sure, should be able to view the execution if they want to
Personally, I don't have a problem with families being able to view the execution. This is standard practice in many states. But no execution should be aired to the general public in this country. I'm glad someone was able to change 47s mind about doing so.

I'm curious who managed to change his mind or if he saw and actually acknowledged it wasn't a popular plan. I think it would be easier for him to actually realize it after he remembered it was Hegseth's plan. I would say it may push Hegseth into a resignation situation but, if all the other horrible moves he's made so far haven't done it, I can't see this being the straw that broke the camel's back. You never know though.
#msg6031629FeralHermit : I'm very disappointed
Why? He's still being executed. I am guessing you wished to watch?
