DS was supposed to fly in from Denver but instead he'll be staying tonight in Denver. Seems like these contractors cut cables every other day.

SO much construction at IAH itself, and also road construction in the nearby area, too. Just leads to some very stressful times for passengers and employees at IAH, as well. Emoticon

Luckily, the ground stop was lifted at 9:20 and there are now only delays of about 10 or 15 minutes. Of course there are not many flights left to arrive or depart, at this time. They are continuing to work on the problem and hope to have a completely remedied for tomorrow morning's operations begin. Whew….
