#msg6029998Chow : And one of my best golf buddies is a Trumper. We never discuss politics while riding together in the cart for 4 solid hours.
Yet you posted photos that can identify you to the autism cpmmunity where you are purchasing a home. I know an educator that serves the autism community there. I haven't seen him yet to comment on a future community member mocking autism members. He can search this site for himself
.social media posts are searhed to identify community education needs. There is a company that does that. They scour posts here. I don't remember its name.
I learned of that entiry because a paranid libertarian friend i Sarasota asked about a culity contract there . I looke d t see v if they have a c o ntrct in this ara. Tey do.
#msg6029988Capybara : Why just because they think differently than you?
#msg6030004Chow : You're implying or assuming that I only avoid conversations with people wearing apparel from a political figure l don't like. I'm not engaging with anyone wearing political **** period, so that would include people I may agree with. People who wear that kind of **** make politics their whole identity, I know I won't be able to have a conversation about the weather without them turning it pollical. I would never wear that ****, so yes, I guess in that respect it is because I think differently than them.
#msg6030000SandyKnee : So you're able to do it and so am I. Thats good….. poster said he/she would never converse with a person that thinks different
#msg6030009Chow : No, no I did not. That is not what I said.

#msg6030011Chow : No, you're embellishing what they said. They said they would not converse with anyone wearing any time of political stuff. That's not the same as conversing with someone who thinks differently than you, as they are not flaunting that fact to the world. If my golf friend showed up one day in a pro-Trump outfit, we'd have words about it and then I'd distance myself.
When I was a child my grandfather had a Hubert Humphrey placard hanging on the garage wall. I loved playing in his garage, so I remember it, but never asked him anything about it. Later in life I learned that my grandmother wouldn't tolerate politics discussed in the house. She told him that if he wanted to talk politics, he could go out in the garage and talk to himself.
KooKooCaChoo and SandyKnee reacted #msg6030010Capybara : Maybe I miss understood…..
#msg6030020Chow : I have political discussions with friends and family all the time, and the majority of my friends have political opinions that are very different from mine. I'm just not going to engage a stranger, who if they are wearing political garb, will very likely not have the social skills to know when to shut up.

#msg6030015SandyKnee : Well hopefully he wouldn't because that would show no class especially because he knows your Trump hatred. I'd tell you to choose better friends Would you still golf with him if he wore a Trump hat?
