TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Are you sure? If they do pay, will they pay in full? Seems a waste of dollars to keep someone alive who was supposed to be executed. That said, they may have some obligation to take a prisoner to the hospital if injection fails. This is the 2nd fail this year! The chief of Tn DOC has resigned too.

I think of the victim's family just knowing part of their tax money kept this monster alive for 30 YEARS after her conviction and sentencing, and now, due to her $$$ greedy defense team, they are STILL keeping her alive (if THAT story is even true). It must be sheer torture and anguish for them!

I wonder who is subsidizing her greedy defense team. Someone is!! That's quite a heftyu and steady income for the past 30 years! I think we need to investigate some of these corrupt carrion feeding bustards and send them to GITMO to be held accountable for the harm they've caused others and the bastardizing of our justice system.
