HappyDay2016 : That is a really sad story indeed. Butler got heat exhaustion 2 years ago and it scared me to death. Now everyone drinks with electrolytes. We use NUUM. You can order it on Amazon.

HappyDay2016 : How awful! I've had heat sickness but nothing like that devastating condition.
I now exercise only in the morning if going outside.
Is there any new information about Austin's condition? I couldn't find anything online.
Picasso13 : He was life flighted to San Antonio but apparently as of yesterday still at a hospital. I found some discussions on Facebook about his status a day ago.

HappyDay2016 : Earlier this summer I was golfing and suffered minor heat exhaustion. So, I play in the mornings now. Last time I played I drank 3 Gatoraides and 2 Bottle of Water. When I arrived home I drank a small bottle of Pickle Juice. I still felt some minor effects of the heat.

golfshot : At my work I was told if I am thirsty then I am already starting to get dehydrated. There are great charts for the color of urine, if it is pretty yellow or darker then that is not a good sign (yes some vitamins or medication may darken urine so keep that in mind)
