What's a recession indicator that you've noticed lately?

I forgot to add. I did a job yesterday and the cx's house was so hot inside. I made small talk and was like I hope i get out of here before the a/c man shows up. He sighed then laughed. My a/c works just fine. Too dang expensive. Had all the windows open. Horrible day to go into the closet and work plus the attic right after.

I feel that way also it is too expensive to run the AC. I hear about the free AC give away programs for the people who can't afford one or very low income and I have to wonder how will they afford the electric bill to run the new AC? Anyone know how.

SkynetAware : I looked at some new Hondas today and Civics start in the 30's. When I graduated from HS you could buy a new Vega or Pinto for $2000. Guess I'll continue to drive my old vehicles till they wear out.

I've been doing private chef work on the side, and recently I've had more clients who prefer to purchase the groceries themselves and simply pay me for my time and skill to come in and prepare the meal - win win for me 😅
