Why do we keep them? I think i kept a few for the grand to do crafts w, but thats no reason for all of them. And these have been on shelf for YEARS time to declutter.

I reuse my boxes as best I can. I'll cover a nice sturdy one.

I store my shoes in clear plastic boxes so it is easier to identify. They still get forgotten. Last year I bought gold dress shoes. A few months later I bought another pair of gold dress shoes having totally forgotten the first pair as they are rarely worn.

Txbutterfly : I cleaned out my DS' closet a year or so ago. I could not believe how many boxes he had! All Nike and brands of his favorite shoes. I guess he thought he would sell them one day. He did take good care of them. He was freaky about having a crease in the leather where your foot bends by your toes. Even a shoe clerk guy noticed it on a pair he had on and they had a whole conversation about it! 😆
