Catarack Surgery this morning. I had one eye done about three weeks ago. Today the other eye. I can't wait. Berkley has been very good and the people are nice. The only drawback is I won't be able to play golf for a while. By the time I heal, the weather should be cooler

golfshot : Good thoughts as you head in for your surgery. My cataract surgery went well , though I went to Mann, Berkeley has a great reputation, too! You are right, takes about a week for healing, but you will be back on the greens when it is 55 degrees for your tee time!

rocklady2024 : Yes! When I went to my 3 month check up after surgery, I was amazed at How much better I could see. I could read all but the very bottom line of that eye chart, and before, well...a Lot less was clear. Be sure to keep using some moisturizing eye drops after surgery. I used Refresh Tears PF; recommended by my eye doctor, used once a day, at bedtime. Keep us posted as you heal!
LittleTexas: I have glacoma so I had drops for that and dry eye but mine was 3 yrs ago and remember when I went to Florida I couldn't see the shells ? Well it was scar tissue build up from that surgery so they laser it and that worked !

golfshot : They usually do go really well. Praying for you . I've never had it done, but I remember taking my dad and his came out perfect my mother-in-law's came out perfect my friend had it done. It came out perfect so hopefully yours is perfect and you're back to playing golf soon.

golfshot : Prayers all goes well with your cataract surgery. My family have all used Berkeley for cataract surgery and I took all of them for their surgeries. Everyone was thrilled with the results. I hope you are also thrilled! Did you get the regular lenses or the lenses for distance and up close? When I have cataract surgery I would love to never wear glasses again.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : It's amazing how good I can see out of the eye already done. I can see distance really well. I'll have to see how it comes out. I may still need cheaters. I am really hoping for better night vision too.
