Astros Playoff Chances.

If they win, they are in no matter what the Rangers do. Lose and Rangers win, wait until next year. Both win or lose Astros own the tiebreaker and are in.

I do not root for or against the Astros but if they do get into the playoffs the city/people gets pumped.

And I root for them, win....or lose. I also root for the Detroit Tigers, my team as a kid growing up there. Nice to see Verlander hand up his spikes.

Astros MUST win and get in the playoffs this year. There is no guarantee there will be a season next year due to the lockout.

Win or lose in the playoffs, the AL West banner will hang in the rafters. Even if the record is 81-81.
