Nona : There are some people on here think that taking a cruise is the best thing since sliced bread. Again very inexpensive so called vacation 
UptownGirl : But it is! .. According to my neighbor who insists that I am truly missing out every time she comes back from a cruise. (her husband, though, comes back like he wants to rip his own face off; he hates being around that many people all packed in like that but has to fulfill the promises he made when they both retired.)
Darla897 : We have 4 friends that went on an Alaskan Cruise. Luxury Seaborn ship, roughly $7K each for an average cabin (though quite nice) All 4 loved the experience and the incredible sights ... But 3 of the 4 returned with Covid. 2 had to visit the ship's Dr and were told do not leave your cabin after testing positive. They missed 2 days (out of 10) at the end of their cruise. Dr told them try to avoid touching the railings on the ship and of course take all the precautions you would at home. Who knows where they actually were exposed to it. But what a bummer to come home sick .....
sellbuy : Hey that's not too bad ... two days out of ten. I am glad they enjoyed the sights. I can see, also, how people watchers or people-persons might really enjoy cruises. I think I would enjoy all the other people for maybe the first day and then be wanting to hang off the side for the rest of the time!
luannski : That is what you pay for on a cruise. Cheap, cheesy, trashy and inexpensive. After you get home you have to convince yourself you had a good time.

sellbuy : I got Covid on a couple cruises. We cruise a couple times a year. Anytime you are around that many people you can pick something up. I have since started avoiding the elevators and hand rails and I have not had any more issues. Those boats are cleaned constantly but it is just unavoidable. For me the crowded elevators is the main culprit. I take the stairs now, better for me anyway.
Let's talk about appropriate dress. Yesterday we went to the Museum of Fine Arts. I love it there! I was shocked to see a woman with a top on but no pants. Her butt was not covered by her shirt but it was pulled forward to cover her private parts from the front. At least 6 to 8 inches of her butt stuck out from under her shirt. The museum attendant talked to her about it and she told him she had neutral leggings on. I could barely see her thong at times. There were no leggings but he let it go cause she said she had them on. She should have been kicked out. If it were a man he would have been arrested! What do you think? The AI picture is extremely modest in comparison to what we saw. Her top was much shorter! AI would not let me put skin colored pants on her. I think it thought I was a perv or something.

I am just saying just because people don't have a lot of money doesn't mean they are trashy and just because someone has a lot of money doesn't mean they have class. I would never say cruising is for everyone but I am not going to judge folks who enjoy it, not will I judge those who don't like it. Life is too short.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : This pic is 100% way more appropriate than what I have seen on The Woodlands Waterway lol. But I know you said this pic is not what you saw. One girl barely if even, had her "baby feeders" covered lol. This was at Gooses Acre. Not a museum I know...and it was outside. But still.
