#msg5995550Luv2eatsushi : It's actually kind of funny to use any holy book as a standard for dress. Everyone was dressed pretty much the same with slight variations. Men and women basically dressed the same as well.
#msg5995520I just ordered a gender neutral baby gift! I'm so woke! 🤣
#msg5995528Just want to remind you guys that sometimes babies are born with both sex organs, and the parents can pick whether they want a girl or a boy.
#msg5995601StainlessSteelR : Focus. This thread isnt about dress. Unless it is gender neutral
🤣 How is what I posted not gender-neutral? Aside from stylistic variations, everyone, both male and female, is essentially wearing a dress. Sure, you can call a man's dress a robe, but it's pretty much the same thing. Either that, or women are wearing robes too, and we just call them dresses. That's the point I was trying to make. A kilt and a Catholic school skirt are pretty interchangeable, except for the side they fasten on.
You're right. And I'm not. My frustration stems from the profoundly dumb ******** being posted on KDC yet again. I guess I hope for too much.
I have a family member who works with teens on a daily basis (and has for years) and they said that kids were calling themselves "gender neutral" before they started calling themselves "non-binary". That was the order that I thought as well. But, I wonder if it is dependent on what age group or what region of Texas or the United States that determines not only what they call themselves but how quickly it might cycle around to a previous term or maybe even a NEW term.

The only thing that matters is whether you are a decent human being regardless of your genetic sex or sexual orientation.

In my opinion the culture war in which we've been embroiled the last 20 years or so, makes no sense whatsoever. Because at the end of the day, it doesn't create jobs. Nor does it put food on the table or clothes on our backs. All it really does is distract while our pockets are being picked clean by those at the top of the food chain.

I was discussing with someone the other day about how pop culture is the great distractor, along with gambling and drinking. It eases the pain for the have-nots but what you said sounds very valid. Must go google what more has been said on this observation of yours.
