Last trip to SHOWBIZ KW I said the last time was the last time, but we thought the SDX theater would be different…IT'S NOT. When we walked in, there was popcorn all over the floor in the lobby, in every direction, the bathrooms need a good scrubbing from a professional cleaning service, as does every inch of this place, and, as many have commented previously, the seats and cup holders are horrendous. I felt like I needed a decontamination shower after leaving. Next movie trip is somewhere far from this sh!+hole. NEVER.EVER.AGAIN. SHOWBIZ KW, DO BETTER!!!

MissAmericanPie : This was the "new and upgraded" theater that charges more per ticket. This place is garbage!!!
It has been posted on here before how bad it is. Thanks for the pictures! That is really gross! I won't be going there!
muffy : I saw those and even commented, but I was hoping management would have made some attempt to clean up and improve, but it's just gotten worse.

donnatella : That is disgusting, and sad. I would've been very uncomfortable watching a movie there, too. I said the other day that I thought it was a shame that it's already come to this much disrepair. People will definitely stop going to this theater, and I see a closure coming up for it soon.
donnatella : It might be time to demo the interior and replace it with an indoor Mountasia.
donnatella : I went to the Cinemark in New Caney about a month ago. It was clean and new but the pillow on the seat was uncomfortable. I will take that over filthy any day. Just sit in the back!

Yesterday we had afternoon appointment in The Woodlands. After that we had dinner at North Italia.
Then we went to the Regal theater in Spring by Riley Fuzzle, for the first time. The theater was clean and very nice. We saw Spiderman in 4DX, first 4DX movie we've been to. It was fun. Then right outside the theater is Handel's Ice Cream. We had some before we drove back to Kingwood. A wonderful Friday date night.
donnatella : We stopped going there several years ago because it was so gross. Its a shame that we have to travel outside KW when we want to see a movie. We go to VR now.
