radiogirl30 : Well, mail theft is rampant in Kingwood and the PO is terrible. That said, they can take all the junk out of my mailbox that they want.

radiogirl30 : Kinda sucks that you cannot fully use your mailbox the way that it is intended. SMH. I have put outgoing mail in the box, raised the flag and my mailman just opens it and sets the incoming mail on top of the item without taking it or putting the flag down. Was this an SUV btw?

We have most on auto pay and get very little valuable mail.
When we are waiting for something important, I lol at myself. I make sure it's empty, empty until I get what is coming. Then it's back to once a week to clear garbage. Those blue value coupons and concept magazines are trash full of over advertised expensive companies. I did call one guy about a sliding door fix. He came in at starting at $600 and could do it next week. When I told him my landlord found a guy for $260 and he could do it in two days, his price was $300 and he could do it the next day. No thanks, you're sketchy now lol.
Same with pest control companies. Went from $300 plus yearly contract of $100 a month, but they come out every three months. I got a service for half that, a yearly for half that and they come every other month. Oh and they were just here yesterday again, a week after initial visit because we saw too many scorpions and the neighbors did some landscaping. Service the day after calling.
I never use those over advertised companies. You're paying for that.
