Ruger5 : They aren't really optional, I'm just being a little extra this morning. People tend to just go right through them without actually stopping.

Athens85 : Royalty doesn't stop at stop signs.

Athens85 : You can attend the Kingwood Service Association (KSA) Public Safety Meeting tonight. HPD is usually there. You can speak with them. If my memory serves me right, some time ago, a Royal Brook resident mentioned the same thing, put in a request and HPD did ticket several folks for blowing through stop signs.The KSA Public Safety Committee meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00 PM. Meetings are held at the South Woodland Hills Community Room located at 2030 Shadow Rock Drive, Kingwood.

Apparently we have a few in my neighborhood as well.

Athens85: Apparently some people in Kingwood think ALL stop signs and red lights are optional.

The scariest thing is apparently red lights are just a suggestion as well. Someone is going to get killed doing these stupid things.

Its everywhere, not just there. And now we have e bikes and scooters and golf carts all who think NO laws apply to them.
This morning, on the first day of school, a man driving his kids to school in a golf cart, and with the police there to direct all the heavy traffic, he blows right thru the stop sign never bats en eye. Oh ok, the rest of us will stop and make sure you can do stupid things WITH your own kids in tow. Insert eye roll.🙄

Just noticed today HEB has put new signs in street in front of their doors-Stop for Pedestrians-I guess people don't want to stop for people in crosswalks either…..
