Busy, Busy Roads Today! Just a reminder that it is tax-free weekend out there, which is great for those buying school supplies and all, but if you can delay your trip beyond the local streets in your hood, you might want to do so. The Maul ( spelled correctly 
) is gonna be packed; the garage underneath is already almost full! I'm headed for an iced coffee and staying home. What are you doing today?

LittleTexas : The roads were pretty busy yesterday also including Kingwood.
Not plans right now to go anywhere.

peppermintstick : So true; lots of traffic yesterday,too. I just gave a friend a ride to the Maul,and did Not go in. Nay, Nay! Went some 'back ways' to get there and back ( it's good to be from this area
). Now, it will be a few errands to Very local spots, and nothing more. It can wait til next week. Y'all enjoy your Saturday!

luannski : I used to wear mine at the pool and beach; just don't get sun lotion from your face application on them, and don't rub on the lashes with a towel, after you swim. I bet they are more secure now, and FB will chime in, too
LittleTexas : I'm going to head out and see what I can get for our boy from the Academy in Valley Ranch later today, and try to take advantage of the tax free weekend. I don't need to get a lot, but every little bit helps.

LittleTexas : We were out and about and we could not get out of the Harbor Freight parking lot around 10AM. I could not believe how much traffic there was! Went to Valley Ranch for brunch and a movie. So many people out today. I had no idea it was tax free weekend. That explains it!
Reivax : I did go look for a few things I needed at Kroger, and got some gasoline, so I stopped by McD's for an iced vanilla coffee..and then home...ASAP. Good day to stay in.
