Loop 494 and Northpark closed until 9/9

Are we putting coin bets down yet? I bet they miss the deadline yet again. Oh, and I've seen where they started rebuilding the walkways on the south side of North Park. I bet before it's all set and done they rebuilt that walkway about 10 times within the next two years.

elguapo: Oh sure, I imagine they'll move it forward again. Hard to think they decided to close it during the most active part of hurricane season. But here we are.

I live in the worst part of it in Kings Mill off NP and Russel Palmer. Y'all are so much more upset about this than I am. I have plan Bs and Cs to get where I need to. I'll pre plan and find a back way.

Oh man! What an absolute mess!I wish they would hurry up and get that completed. SO many businesses are suffering with all of this mess. I know I avoid the area at all costs, but I know some people have to deal with that mess daily!

It's a shame for the new businesses as well as old. Yesterday we turned at Russell Palmer took the 1st right, down through that neighborhood, then made a right and came out onto NP. We were going to Italianos and murry did a great job finding the shortcut. Still what a mess.

I don't understand how they can get away with missing deadlines. This is a major headache for so many.

The holdup is the traffic lights. They have to be synchronized with the railroad signals.

Zz98721 : Railroad controls everyone, it's their schedule at their time. Contractor can't drill the rest of the drill shafts, they have to de mobe the drill rig & crane then come back later after the railroad clears them which could take months
