City of Houston bought this property after it flooded Elm Grove due to faulty excavation by previous owners a few years back. Now there are trucks removing earth by the truckload and have people directing traffic......what's going on now ?

No idea, but I'm sure Bob Rehak stated why on his 17340 days since Harvey post. I made a comment on a KW FB group a month ago and somehow got automatically admitted to the group. I saw his post and immediately unfollowed. His kind of trigger posts really annoy the hell out of me. THERE IS NO NEED TO KEEP REMINDING PEOPLE OF THAT HORRIBLE TIME. Seriously, it's just like pulling the knife out, and then pushing in again harder, and harder every day. Why do y'all allow him to do that?
Brat : I personally like that he keeps me updated on what is gong on that will or will not improve drainage in our area. I like the fact we have a watchdog looking after our best interests. TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Totally agree. I love that he got involved so deeply. Better to stay on top of things rather than just "forget" what happened allowing it to happen again. We need more people like him.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : And I totally get and respect that. It's awesome that he is fighting for Kingwood and the flooding issues. It's just the daily reminders of how long it's been since Harvey is what gets under my skin.

StormChaser : We were 14 days Beryl and put our generator in January this year. I feel for first time buyers in KW when they can finally get into a home and realize ther'e gonna need a $13,000 generator too!
