July is approaching quickly, and the first Tuesday is free admission at The Houston Zoo. It is best to get there when they open in the summer, at 9 am. The animals are out and having breakfast, and the temp is more tolerable. Free Fun!

Nice 👍 I didn't realize that went through summer months . We have a beautiful Zoo in Houston, great place to visit on free day.

It is, even though it is warm. We are at the gates when they open. Parking is easier that early, too. We leave when it heats up, and head to Barnaby's on West Gray for lunch. Love their burgers and salads, and the homemade strawberry lemonade is delicious.
