I'm reading posts from the Montgomery County police reporter that in the Woodlands this morning there were flooded roads and they were having to do high water rescues on some of the main roads within the Woodlands. That is scary. Prayers that no one was injured.

I also hope everyone is alright. I'm going to check in with some friends that live in The Woodlands just to make sure they are safe.
Classes at LSC Montgomery, Creekside and University Center have been cancelled today because of the flooded roadways.

I work in the woodlands across from Memorial Hermann hospital and our parking lot was flooding. Many of the buildings employees were out in the rain moving cars. One of our MAs had water inside of her car and one of the physician's had tried to move his Beamer and it stalled out and died. That was just our parking lot, I'm sure it was worse on the roads.

That's good to know, thanks! Stay safe out there, it's still going to be bad the next couple of days. I'm not sure why people persist in driving through high water. There was one time when I was driving home from work that I got caught in a bad storm, and there was flooding all around me on the roads going home. I honestly didn't drive into the high water, but it came up on me fast, and that was terrifying. Be Careful out there!

That happened to me the year that Tropical Storm Allison hit us. The parking lot and the place where I was working got flooded, and I had to wait until it drained a while before I called my DH to come pick me up.
