sweetie : Doesn't seem to be much doubt those were gunshots. We have people saying everyday around here that they hear gunshots. But why wouldn't someone call the police to check out that house??

HappyDay2016 : Best thing is always be aware of your surroundings and if your beliefs are based on your rights then PACK. Lastly if you're a believer then pray for your friends, family and yourself. I cut the front yard last night. It took a little longer as I was always keeping an eye on my surroundings.

CatalinaD : it is too close for comfort. I've already got relatives telling me you need to move out of Kingwood. It's getting too dangerous. I said if you think Kingwood is dangerous, you should see Houston.

sweetie : HOA doesnt do law enforcement. They pay for attorneys, then bump your HOA fees to support it.
Luv2eatsushi : Couldn't they send them a letter about the ongoing violence there? My tenant just got a threatening letter because his trash can could be seen from the street. He called them and told them it was raining and he put it at gate and went to work next morning. They told him he should have put it behind the gate. So let me see now.. which is worse for the neighborhood a trash can that can be seen from the street or a house being shot up late at night several times.

sweetie : Ohhhh the HOAs do love to manage your trash cans. But seriously, if you are concerned about the gun shots, I would attend the next HPD PIP meeting. Next Tuesday evening at 7pm.

Where would you move too? Move north to Cleveland? Heck no , way worse. Move to Conroe? Heck no they have crime too. Move downtown to Houston? Move to Spring lol if you want car windows slashed all the time? Move to Colorado with the Venezuela gangs? Just curious where do you think a safety bubble still exists? There are probably a few places that were like Kingwood 15 years ago but can't think of any around here. Where are you thinking is safe? Out of state?
