RANT...New $5 trash service fee....and yet, 311 said it would b

Oh good grief! And the water fee just shot up!! Our bill doubled ☆ and we ha ent had to water anything yet!!

At least y'all GET a trash bin. My neighborhood in Kings Crossing pays for Best Trash, no doubt the same you pay, but no one here gets a bin. I had to go buy one. Many neighbors here just dump their bags and boxes on the curb for trash day. No idea why!

Yes, we get the trash bin and the recycling bin, but it COH service, not a private service. It has been a pain at times but in the 20 + yrs. we've lived here, we've only recently had issues and it's mainly with heavy trash pick up. I don't feel like the trade off is bad considering the thousands of dollars saved from being forced to use a private company.

We haven't had issues like those you've seen. I do see a lot of cans packed well above what they should be. Guess our area has been lucky. The only thing we know is if they see yard clippings sticking out of the can, they will pass it by....yard debris is supposed to be separated....and heavy trash seems to be delayed a lot.
Did you find out the pick up location? If not, I'll ask when I call Monday about the status of our can.

The COH refund to the HOA is based on the fees residents pay to the COH via water bills. Yep, we know the new tax/fee will be passed to everyone.
