Power Outage

This just came across

Oh no! That is not good. I hope they can get it fixed quickly.

Lizvac : I heard our generator kick in, but I didn't look at the clock to see what time it happened. The power had blipped several times before I went to bed.

Aggie89 : WOW, didn't know that, and that's only a couple streets away from me...

I did not even hear my generator.

CaffeineFree : The power blipped on and off a couple times beforehand and then totally shut off...I fell back to sleep and didn't wake up again until going on 10 AM...got back from Italy late Sunday night and am sleep deprived...I didn't sleep on any of the flights coming or going, did a lot of walking, and also caught a cold, sore throat, laryngitis, chest congestion, and sinus infection from the weather changes that occur over there every day...hit the doctor's office up on Monday morning, and now trying to recoup...soooo, needless to say, at the moment the power went out I could not have cared less...LOL

Wow. I'd hate to get sick in a foreign country.

Lizvac : Feel better soon. This is good sleeping weather (as long as it isn't thunder and lightening...just raining). We will be here when you get back.

CaffeineFree : Some have easier access to medications.

CaffeineFree : I went to their pharmacies for some over-the-counter relief and drank a lot of green tea until I got home and went to the doctor... thankfully it wasn't anything more serious because they don't accept Medicare coverage...but I can honestly say that even though I wasn't feeling so great I still had a wonderful time...this was my first overseas trip ever that my son planned for my birthday, and I wasn't going to let anything get in the way of enjoying it...I just took it a little slower...
