#msg5921771Restaurants needed/wanted in Kingwood. A good bakery specializing in fresh bread. There was one, not sure of the name, but something like Grand Harvest. It was very good. Anyone knows what happened to it? More ethic take-out food like Vietnamese, Chinese or Japanese. Yes, I know we have some, but most are just so-so Polish/Hungarian food. Anyone who has authentic Stuffed Cabbage, Pierogi, Kielbasa, or Chicken Paprikash will know what I am talking about. What do you think we need in Kingwood?

I wish Great Harvest was back…I really liked that place and it seemed like they were always busy.

We liked Great Harvest also. The owners of the one that was in Kingwood wanted to retire. The workers under them tried to get one in Valley Ranch but it fell through.
They do come to the Kingwood Farmers Market on Thursday. They bring a selection of breads and treats.

Yeah…I visit every once in a while at the farmer's market…the retail location is more convenient…it is weird to me that general bakers have pretty much disappeared in most communities…fresh bread is a nice luxury, and I'd be willing to pay extra for it.

I would like an Indian place and Mediterranean. I know....DiMassi is not far.

Indian would be nice, too. I love Dimassi's.

I agree. I'd like to see a Great Harvest or a good bread place in Kingwood.
I have seen another bread seller at the Farmers Market in the past but don't know if they come consistently.
What about a West African place. Ever been to ChòpnBlọk?

Dimassi's pro tip - their buffet prices go up on the weekends, but their To Go price stays the same…you can usually get more food for a cheaper price if you get it to go on Saturdays & Sundays…

I would like to see a Mias Table restaurant here. It is great food, and atmosphere- good for families. It's part of the Carrabbas franchise. The one of Kirby has a nice big deck under the trees and we love it there.
