We used Grasten Generators from Conroe for purchase & installation in 2019. They still do ongoing maintenance. We've found them to be responsive and reliable.

Madd Roofing & Generators installed a Kohler generator for our house. They also do the maintenance. They did an excellent job on installation and the ongoing maintenance. I highly recommend them. Here is their number 281-577-4065.

I've been with Power Solutions Specialists for 10 years. They did a great install, monitor my generator constantly and provide great service. I highly recommend them.

We have a Koehler which we got the year after Hurricane Ike. We used Generator Power Systems (affiliated with Fish Electric so they know what they are doing). We have a routine maintenance contract with them as well. Two of our neighbors have done the same. During the last extended outage we had, it ran 24:7 for almost 2 weeks. No problems. Nothing for us to do. Highly reliable.

Catlady425 : I also used Graston- I had it installed last summer. I found their pricing to be competitive and they handled everything so it was completely turnkey.

If you are looking for a portable generator, rather than an auto start for $15k more, with a house connector let me know I used someone locally. Auto start up is great. Doing it manually (hooking it up and pressing start) is a pain, but price is better. It's about $5k with portable generator and house connector. Koehler is a platinum level generator is $$ but wish I had one. I don't see myself still living here ten years from now so the price point made sense to do some manual setup with a portable generator.

I also used Grasten and so happy with our Kohler. Took a few weeks for HOA approval, but so glad we did it and gives me peace of mind.

jonpaul2021 : We bought ours in 2020. Was much cheaper at that time…from what I hear. Generator Supercenter. Turnkey, monitoring, maintenance plan. No complaints. When we have needed her, "Genny, sangs". 👌🏻

Did you ever imagine we would be using our generator as much as we do these days?

We got ours from Generator Superstore. Other than the wait for an install date, they were great.

Donnawisdom : Honestly, we haven't had many power outages in our part of Sand Creek *knock on wood* this year. We have friends who live in the back of Kings Point, and their generator gets used a lot more than ours does.
