I am glad they got caught and charged. I don't buy lottery tickets often, but when I do I want to know I have a fair chance and not that someone in the top with authority found a way to game the system.

I have watched some movies and documentaries about the lottery and have seen people printing 1000s tickets at many different machines. They even had the lottery deliver machines before the lottery knew what was going on back in the day. Those that had money made tons of money because they would print out every possible combination at many store for may different lotteries. They would even pay different people to claim the money and the person claiming would get a small annual salary. Then it moved online which this guy abused in the article. He did what others have been doing for over 20 years. There are ways to win, but I like to think my one ticket will do it The other big scam now is some stock trading companies can see mega mutual fund stop loss limits just sitting out there in massive amounts and know when a stock drops to x price 30 million sold. So they can have a stop loss right above the bigger one for their clients. So hard these day to be the small fish in the big pond.
