Saturday forecast + radar After last night's storms, we stayed dry overnight, but the radar is starting to get active again to our south (and will continue to do so as the AM goes on) 
Expect scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms across the area today. Like yesterday, not everyone will see rain, but those that do could see some pretty violent lightning (like last night, wowza!) along with heavy rainfall and gusty winds. I don't anticipate widespread flooding to be an issue but we could see street ponding in areas that typically hold water. (Like, you know, ALL of Kingwood lol) 🤦♀️😅 Reminder: That lightning last night was no joke. ⚡️ If you have plans today to be some place like on the water, or in an area without covered shelter, make sure you keep an eye on the radar. I'll update things later on. Have a good Saturday, KDC. 💚

1:45PM radar update Thin line of storms south of us, moving north and strengthening. So far, most has been east of here. Busiest time for storms is 2-6ish tonight.
