Magic Needle Piercing

What to Expect for earlobe piercing? Several here recommended them but everytime I call, I miss out on talking to the piercer. Someone help this chicken who has had one piercing close over the years.

Depends on your pain tolerance. Its really a small sting. Especially if they are just opening an old piercing. I wpuld just buy the piercing earring at Claire's and push it through. The skin is thin and very little nerve endings there 😀

Added note, magic needle is great shop, very clean and well lit up. Just go by one afternoon. Its not usually busy weekedays

Throw some numbing cream on your ear about 30 min before and you won't feel a thing!

Throw some numbing cream on your ear about 30 min before and you won't feel a thing!

Annie : Just get some Ambesol and put it on about 15 minutes before. They will clean your earlobe before piercing.

HIGHLY recommend Magic Needle! I have 9 piercings and Ray has done 5 of them. I've never had a problem when any of the ones he's done but have had issues with the others.

Everyone has their own pain tolerance but since your ear lobe is pretty fleshy (vs the top of your ear where the cartilage is) it's a pretty easy and painless piercing. I would recommend taking some ibuprofen like 30 minutes before your appointment and that would help a lot! You should know too that it's over pretty quickly!

I got the piercings reopened by Ray. No pain at all, as others described. It did have a little sting but nothing of consequence. Of course, I made it so much worse than it was to be.

My earring choice is very dull. I can't wait for the 3 months to pass to have something with more pizzazz!

I had my belly button pierced when I was 47. (My BF at the time talked me into it) . My daughter had just had allergy testing and I had some of that numbing cream left over. I used that and never felt a thing!
I told my daughter when she was 47 I'd pay for hers!

Annie: Buy a little numbing creme. I have a high pain tolerance, but the fist time my ears were pierced, I thought it Hurt like HOLY HELL!
I have to re pierce both my ears but
I want a little piercing like Amy Winehouse had above her lip on the side. Who does those?
