What a miserable night. It was 87 degrees in my bedroom & 90 upstairs. 🥵 Hell - that was WITH a floor fan! I woke up at 1:30 covered in sweat. The portable AC does not reach or cool the sleeping areas of the house, just 1 of our living rooms but that's only possible with the rest of the of the house blocked off to make a little cave in my living room. I'm probably going to use the air mattress and sleep out there for the rest of the time because the air is so stagnant back in those room and the upstairs is so much worse. Centerpoint has all our damn areas listed as still "Pending assessment" Hunter's Ridge and Elm Grove DO NOT not have power even though the Centerpoint map says so. 🙄 
I don't know of anyone that has power in the main Kingwood area. I know Energy on the north side of Kingwood and Southern Montgomery is telling people July 14th - 16th. 😬 Yes, I know - be patient - but this sucks lol.
Haven't seen any trucks or linemen in the area.

StormChaser : I am so very sorry for all of KW- it really breaks my heart. I would block off that living room and have everyone sleep there- looks like it's going to be a long haul.

StormChaser : It does suck. This was poor planning by Centerpoint. I doubt we get power before tomorrow night or Friday

OBSD68 : No green means power is flowing. Blue means it's been assessed and linemen assigned.
